> Pray for our troups and all of the fighting forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever they are deployed in the middle east

 > Pray for a breakthrough into pertinent information which will lead to the capture of key extremist leaders

 > Ask the Lord to save lives.  Like Abraham pleaded for Lot and his family we have the authority to go to God and ask for the lives of the righteous (troops, dignitaries, workers or all kinds and also the indigenous believers)

 > Pray for prophetic destiny to come forth in it's full measure for this season for Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and the other countries of the middle east

 > Iraq is occupied by approximately 97% of it's people adhering to the muslim religion.  This is an example of much of the middle east.  This is a target no one could miss!  Pray, pray, pray for the lost of the middle east.

 > There are approximately 1.4 billion muslims--what an incredible harvest field.  Stand in the gap for these precious souls.

 > Pray for some "Saul of Tarsus" types to have an encounter with Jesus Christ and be raised up as a voice for God among their people group

 > Let's ask the Lord of the Harvest to send forth laborers into this great harvest (Matthew 9:38)

 > Pray that the saints would awake and arise in this hour and not be a people that says "it is four months until the harvest" (John 4:35)

 > Pray for the existing and coming leaders of Iran.  Pray that there would be among them key spiritual (Christain) leaders saved and raised up to be "salt" that would produce a new "season", the beginnings of a new flavor for that country.

 > Pray for the Church to shake itself from an earthly view and come up to the throne room to gain God's view about the "sons of Ishmael" and the love He has for them

 > Pray that a voice would go to the middle east proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and that no man comes to the Father but by him.

 > Ask the Lord to begin to cause a backlash when extremists / jihadists are sent out on suicide missions; that they would have an encounter with an angel of God and come to their senses.

 > Pray for the five-fold ministry to be raised up in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, Israel and all over the middle east.

 > Pray for the Church to increase in it's role as a "House of Prayer for the Nations"

 > That the prayer / intercessory leaders will learn how to stand in the counsel of the Lord and get the strategy / words to pray for the middle east (Psalm 25:14; Jeremiah 23:18)

 > Pray for indigenous evangelists to get saved, filled with the power of God and sent forth in Holy Spirit commissioning with heavenly vision for their people group

 > Pray / come against hate, murder, religious confusion; bind the spirit of error off of those who are ordained for eternal life in this season (Acts 13:48)

 > Ask the Lord to remind us all that we were once enemies of God.  We have been given the ministry of reconciliation so we can declare to men that their sins are forgiven and they can enter into that forgiveness when they trust in Jesus Christ (Romans 5:10; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

 > We are standing in the gap for the lost of the middle east

 > Intercede for the Church that we would not get stuck in political viewpoints, popular opinion or our personal predjudices but would really have the heart of the Father for the people of the middle east

 > Let's ask the Lord to grant mercy to those who have lost loved ones in these conflicts that they wouldn't end up in unforgiveness, bitterness and hatred

 > Pray for the Hollywood celebraties to have a real spiritual epiphany, come to know the Lord Jesus as Master and Ruler, and change their views that are anti-God and His purposes

 > Remember that yours is not to criticize, judge or complain but to put on the whole armour of God and "take the battle to the gate."  We are not wrestling against flesh and blood! (Isaiah 28:6; Ephesians 6:12)
