April 3rd: Family

> Pray for the Church of the Lord Jesus to have breakthrough revelation about community, relationship and the power of church life
> Pray for the Father to release deep revelation about sonship to the Body of Christ and the result would be that insecurity would begin to be driven out of His house
> Pray for the manifestation of God being a Father to the fatherless in your region (Psalm 68:5)
> Pray for the reality of the "spirit of adoption" to increase among the saints (Romans 8:15)
> Pray for the whole family of God in your region to be blessed with the blessings of heaven and the blessings of earth (Ephesians 3:15; Genesis 49:25)
> Pray for your sons and dauthers to become like plants and corner stones (Psalm 144:12-15)
> Pray for the women of your region and ask the Lord to make them more and more Proverbs 31 women
> Pray for the older women to be raised up as teachers of the younger women (Titus 2:4)
> Pray for the marriages in your church / region to become more of an expression that will bring pleasure to the Lord
> Pray for the men in your region that they would be raised up to be real men of God, real godly fathers and husbands whose lives exemplify true godliness
> Ask the Lord to set the solitary in families in your area (Psalm 68:6)
> Pray for the singles in your region whose season it is for a mate that the Lord would prepare them and so guide them that they would be led to the right person, that the Lord would strengthen them to keep themselves pure until marriage and that the blessing of the Lord would rest on the new family
> Pray for the singles in your region whose season of marriage is yet for a future time that their hearts would find a resting place in the heart of the Father and that they would be attended with a deep sense of Godly contentment and their love would not be awaken before the time (SOS 2:7)
> Pray for the widows who are widows indeed (1 Timothy 5:3, 5, 16) that they would be strengthened with might in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Also that the Lord would give the Church greater understanding of what and what not to do in ministering to widows who fall into the two different Biblical categories [we are not under an extreme law with these things and should always follow the leading of the Holy Spirit]
> Pray for your children to be taught of the Lord, be His disciple and have the great peace of God covering their lives (Isaiah 54:13)
> Pray for the heart-broken children who have been forsaken by their father, mother or both. Let's believe for a healing of the broken heart and a setting into the Body of Christ / Family of God
> If you are a parent, give the Lord thanks today for your children--they are a heritage!
> Pray for the older saints that they would in no way feel unusable, that they would bear fruit in their old age and be strong examples of godliness to the region they reside in
> Pray for the orphans in your region that they would come to know the Lord Jesus. Also that they would be delivered from the work of the enemy seeking to capture them in an orphan mentality
> Pray for the Christian workers in your region whose gift / calling is to minister to children. There is no greater ministry in the Church! Let's pray that the workers would teach the children to be God-chasers and fore-runners!!
> Pray for the children of single parent homes to have special grace and proper support in the church life for parent and child (children)
> Pray for the prophetic destiny of each man, woman and young person in your region to come forth in it's season and to be properly nurtured by seasoned leadership
> Pray for the youth of our day to encounter the Lord in such a way that they become burning and shining lamps like John the Baptist (John 5:35), that they would be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and get clear about their personal spiritual destiny
> Let's pray that the little children would truly come to Jesus and that the Church would not hinder them from coming, but facilitate their coming in every way! (Matthew 19:14)
