 > Pray for the saints to get a revelation and walk in the revelation of discerning the Lord's Body (1 Corinthians 11:29--you might want to read the entire 11th chapter as it is the context of vs. 29)

 > Pray for the gifts of healing that reside in the saints (many of which are dormant) to rise up, get nurtured and released to the Church and the lost (2 Timothy 1:6; 1 Timothy 4:14)

 > Pray for a wave of power evangelism to be release into your region

 > Pray for equippers to equip the saints in the ministry of healing in your region

 > Pray for the churches and the leaders to become the healing hands of Jesus in your community

 > Pray for the gift of faith to manifest in the churches of your region (1 Corinthians 12:9)

 > Pray for the environment of the supernatural to be the norm in your community

 > Pray for power encounters with the lost and the unbelieving in your region

 > Pray for the Kingdom of God to come in power and will of God to be done in your region

 > Pray for personal boldness to pray for people who are suffering with sickness / disease

 > Pray for greater discernment and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit for yourself and the saints in your region

 > Let's ask the Lord for real revelation and equipping for the saints in our areas so that the believer would no longer buy into the clergy / laity idea but would rise up to individual responsibility to see the sick healed

 > Pray for a healing revival and release on your region

 > Look at your hands and thank the Lord for giving you hands to lay on the sick for healing

 > Pray for the sick in your region.  Ask the Lord to rain down His mercy and anointing on them

 > Pray for a spirit of boldness to rise on the Church in your region so that believers will step out in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit and pray for / minister to the sick

Some Background:

 > Jack Moore - founding pastor of Life Tabernacle in Shreveport. Traveled to Arkansas to attend William Branham meetings. Invited him to Shreveport.
 > Gordon Lindsay - evangelist and pastor of an Assembly of God church in Ashland, Oregon. Traveled to California with Moore to meet Branham. Moore and Lindsay agreed to lay down their ministries in order to help Branham in his meetings. Lindsay moved to Shreveport spring of 1948 to serve as editor of Voice of Healing publication.
 > William Branham - lived in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Pastor of a small independent church. All his life he experienced strange encounters with the Lord, but he did not understand these encounters. In a cabin deep in the woods in Indiana in May 1946 he had an encounter with an angel. The angel delivered to Branham a commission of healing for the nations.
 > Voice of Healing magazine birthed in Shreveport. First issue published in April 1948
 > Voice of Healing offices were located on Line Avenue in the building that now houses Superior Grill
 > Moore, Lindsay, and Branham saw the great move of God they experienced to be a glorious opportunity for the Lord's people to unite together in a spirit of humility and unity as the Lord did great things among His people

Recent Prophetic Statements:

 > In the period 1999 - 2004 the Lord sent numerous prophets into the Shreveport region to release prophetic vision over the area dealing with the reemergence of His healing authority here
 > The Lord said, "It is time to redig the wells of healing in this region!"
 > There is a great heritage in this region for healing, deliverance, salvation (sozo-wholeness)
 > Summary: There is a VOICE OF HEALING that is once again to be released in this region. The Shreveport/Bossier City area is to be a city of refuge where healing is to be released to the nations.

Scriptures:

 > Jeremiah 30:17a "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."
 > Matthew 8:16-17 "When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses."
 > Isaiah 58:5-14 (segments) "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of thy wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free and that ye break every yoke? ...Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily."

Pray:

 > in agreement with the prophetic purposes of our region as outlined above
 > for the wells of healing in our region to be re-dug and the river of healing to be released once again
 > that the ministry of healing be fully restored to the Church at large
 > that the spirit of division and pride that marked the earlier healing revivals be removed from your region
 > that the people of God desire to be united in the Lord and to His purposes
 > for the healing of people you know who need the Lord to touch them
 > for healing in your own body
 > that the church in the region grasp the greater vision that the Lord is now birthing among us
 > for a full release of His healing power through your own life and ministry according to this scripture: Mark 16:15-18 (paraphrased): "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. These signs will follow you --- you will cast out demons, you will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover!" 
 > for healing of our land. Lord, stretch out your hand and heal this land and bring restoration!
