April 7th: Revival for the Nations
Today is the day of BreakThrough! Let's pray and believe the Lord for revival in the nations!!
We shouldn't expect radical results from a casual approach! Get Radical in prayer today!!!
Key Scriptures: Habakkuk 3:2; Psalm 71:20; Psalm 85:6; Acts 2:4 & 4:31; Jude 3. Also here are a few resources on revival that will encourage you in your faith and prayer--click here.
> Pray for the House of God to return to the original mandate of being a House of Prayer for the nations (Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13)
> Pray for God to give the Church the gift of repentance so we can acknowlege the truth and recover ourselves out of the snare of the devil (2 Timothy 2:25-26)
> Pray for revival to come in the 3 square feet you live in! Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God so that He may lift you up. There is more in God for you right now so pray for personal revival.
> You are an intercessor and your job today is to stand in the gap and make up the hedge! (The gap is the space / break between where the nations are and where God wants them to be. Make up the hedge through intercession today).
> Pray for Scott & Akua Morrison and their two sons. This family just moved to Uganda, East Africa to follow the Lord in obedience in ministry to 7 countires in East Africa
> Pray for the release of "reaper angels" in the nations (Matthew 13:39)
> Pray for the nations by name as the Holy Spirit directs you
> Pray for revival to come to your lost neighbors and loved ones (2 Peter 3:9)
> Pray for revival to come to your church, your community and your region
> Pray for there to be an adequate infrastructure of intercession in and for the nations
> Pray for new wineskin leaders in the nations. God can make a new wineskin out of an old one so be careful to pray the way the Lord wants you to pray for the leaders (Luke 5:37; Mark 2:22)
> Pray for Mario & Kattya Morales. This couple has an awesome call on their lives to Latin America. Mario is in Mexico this week and will be going to Nicaragua next week
> Ask the Lord to raise up leaders after His heart in the nations
> The heathen (unbelievers) are the Lord's, so we want to agree with heaven today for an ingathering of what already belongs to Jesus as an inheritance (Psalm 2:8)
> Pray for every leader in the nations to experience personal revival
> We are coming up on the 100 year anniversary of the Azusa Street Outpouring--pray for another Pentecost even greater than the one experienced in that great revival (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8)
> Pray that the leaders in the nations would care more for what God cares for than what people care for. As leaders we must seek the honor of God and not seek the honor of men!
> Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. Can't you hear the sound of the abundance of rain? Sow your faith into the coming rain of revival. (Zechariah 10:1; 1 Kings 18:41; Galatians 6:8)
> Pray for Bob Gibson and Lost Sheep Ministries. These guys are going into some 40 nations with the gospel. We love and appreicate the dedication we see in Lost Sheep to work the harvest fields
> Pray for a holy discontentment to rise in every leader in the nations and if not, that the saints would rise up and demand so much more than status quo or business as usual. (2 Corinthians 2:13)
> We want all that is ordained by God for our day--so press into it in prayer today.
> We don't want to waste our time and God's resources on another man-made revival---we must have a God sent revival!!
> Pray for Mattie Livesey as she ministers to the lost and the Church in South Africa
> Pray for the leaders in the nations to get a clear vision of how to prepare for revival and how to steward revival when God pours it out.
> God will not pour out His great power if the intention of men is to use the move to build their own ministry or name. The kingdom is the Lord's!
> We are not building something for Him--He is building something for Himself. Pray that the motives of the leaders would be tried by fire and if necessary God would raise up new leaders that would not attempt to control His move. (Isaiah 66:1; Ephesians 2:22; 1 Peter 2:5)
> Pray for the glory of God to come in such a way that the priests are unable to minister (2 Chronicles 5:14)
