The mission of the prayer ministry is to literally change the spiritual atmosphere of our region.  Our desire is to see the Tabernacle of David restored and for the House of God to once again be a House of Prayer for all of the nations.

Over the past few years the Holy Spirit has made it real to us that one of the primary ministries of this ministry is to be the ministry of prayer.  Here is an overview of the prophetic history of the vision for the ministry of prayer that is to be housed here and how we have responded to date:

> Fall 2003: a vision of Davidic Worship and the restoration for the Tabernacle of David
> December 2003: first Intercessory Missionary moves here to join the ministry
> February 2004: launch a weekly Saturday night worship & intercession watch meeting
> August 2004: word of the Lord comes, "Ask me for 1000 intercessors for this region"
> Fall 2004: word of the Lord comes, Isaiah 56:7 with prophetic insight regarding 2005, 2006, 2007 and the house of prayer being a house of prayer for all of the nations
> November 15-17, 2004: Worship & Intercession weekend conference
> December 2004: word of the Lord comes, "you have planted the seed for the house of prayer, now it is time to establish the house of prayer.  With this word comes a vision download with instructions for 2005
> January 2005: launch One Day-One Thing each last Saturday of the month all day worship / prayer
> Spring 2005: launch a weekly Wednesday morning intercession meeting
> August 2005: Regional Conference to cast vision for a Regional House of Prayer
> December 2005: Region-wide prayer conference, "Watchmen on the Wall"
> January 2006: launch weekly training, "School of Prayer"
> Plans for future months: February 7 - launch weekly "soaking" style prayer meeting; February 17-18 - expand regional intercession infrastructure through leadership roundtable; March 17-18 - strengthen I-10 Corridor Houses of Prayer by helping with an all day prayer event in Lake Charles, Louisiana
